I never stop dreaming.

Why can't have a "single-mind-sized skull, be "too streamlined for any'doubt to pluck at it"? Why am I consistently "seeking for some world lost"? Why do I always feel this "fantasy of directions"?

Is it wrong to be distracted...
Is it wrong to DREAM?

Revising urban geog again. Trying to put everything together. BIG PICTURE. (: I love geography but I think it takes a lot of skill to merge everything together seamlessly and of course, remembering all the minute details and examples which are very very essential if you want to have a good essay. I am still grasping.

OH. I wrote a poem called "Saltation" (sounds familiar, geogers?=p if it doesn't ring a bell, please REVISE !) Inspired by, (sort of), actually it created more of an avenue to vent my frustrations and helplessness.

Literature is the weirdest subject. It can tear my heart to pieces.

"I will have poetry in my life.
And adventure.
And love.
Love above all.
No...not the artful postures of love,
not playful and poetical games of love
for the amusement of an evening, but love
that...over-throws life. Unbiddable,
ungovernable --like a riot in the heart,
and nothing to be done, come ruin or rapture.
Love --like there has never been in a play."

Isn't that beautiful? Mr Ixer let us watch Shakespeare in Love during literature lecture. Mr Harris upon finding out, gave a gasp and went "IXER!", wagging his stubby finger at the same time. I don't really care about the the nakedness. I just thought that the whole thing is so passionate and beautiful... I think sometimes, humans need to be led by impulse... and I think love fuelled on by that tinge of impulse, driven with emotions... -pause-

ah ah ah. I am in a dilemma whether that's my perspective or not because sometimes I do think that we shouldn't get too carried away and have no single bearing on logicality at all. hmmm.. Then again, i don't really care. Sometimes, you need a bit of rashness to make life not as routine and dead and boring. (: I love the film. If I were born in that era, I will definitely fall the guy who acted as Shakespeare... Goodness, the intensity of his eyes, and the poetic flow of his words... his suave demeanour... He seems to be thrown into a delirious fit when it comes to his works... very demanding and professional... and the way he gazes at Viola... Very charming. (:

Jien and I share the same passion about the film, same view on romance and love. We were like oh my gosh oh my gosh and high-fiving each other in Sakae Sushi. Funny sight. You should have seen the appalled looks on Jessie and Guanyee's faces.

I always believe, no matter what, it's a two-way process. Give and take. Do unto others what you would like toehrs do unto you. (sounds wrong but never mind.) I thought about my past experience and I guess honestly, I could share sentiments to a certain extent but i was much more positive and accommodating because I put myself in others' shoes. I detected the style and I tried very hard to fufill my duty. (ok, i am not trying paint a perfect picture of myself) It all lies in the minds, friends. If you let rumours, other people's judgments, your own subconscious suspicion and doubts cloud your perspective, jump to conclusions, get all heated up... slapping yourself with your own so-called must-have principles... everything will yes, eventually evaporate into thin air, but leaving a strong pungent smell lingering in the vicinity. It will exhaust everyone.

The knife is in our hands, the decision to cut the rope of tension or not lies with us... to eradicate the fetid aftertaste by taking intiative to spray and spread the fragrance of objectivity...

I thought one important that was brought up by a friend is "TRUST". This again, goes TWO-WAY. No excuses.

----

Anyway, I still want to watch Shakespeare in Love. I'm going to invest in the DVD.

What light is light,
if Silvia be not seen,
What joy is joy,
if Silvia be not by?
Unless it be to think that she is by
And feed upon the shadow of perfection.
Except I be by Silvia in the night,
There is no music in the nightingale.
Unless I look on Silvia in the day,
There is no day for me to look upon.

NAC FINALLY REPLIED!

ok, they have not yet answered our questions yet. It was more of an informative reply to tell us that they will forward to another department. I thought I was waiting in vain since we received no news for probably more than a month or so. I can't wait for their REAL reply! ((: so exciting.

It seemed like teachers' day at dunman high was a blast. ): I miss dunman high and the teachers terribly. I heard from Jien there will be this alumni dinner this saturday? hahaha. What if it turns out to be a flop to be a gathering of venerable (in other words, old fogeys) , experienced ex-dunmanians? ahem.

I love learning. discovering. challenges.

come on, bring it on.

I slack too much. Please don't start thinking you have ample time and that you can depend on that meagre intelligence to do well, GOH SI YING.

I think lin jun jie has really sweet songs that pull at people's heartstrings. I played the 'prelude' of yiqiannianyihou with my electone, using the pan flute and guitar sounds. -melt- Everytime I hear track number one, I feel very touched.

i am such a romantic at heart. (:

I am back from geog field trip! (:

I... well... realised how ignorant I am, especially regading physical geography. Learning outside classrooms is always very different. It really helped me gain another perspective to what I have learnt. The group presentations every night sometimes made me feel very bahhh.. I see how the teachers were so exasperated and impatient when the other groups were presenting, it's just toally demoralising. They have our interests at heart. Then again, don't be so... yeah. I guess my group managed to pull through for both presentations. ((: That's cool. We thought the teachers would definitely neh neh because all we did for the physical geog exploration was sketches of the places we went. We did plan what to say for some and the rest was impromptu with Joyce and Ryan braving the front and a few of us helping to fill in their loopholes and doubts here and there. I still have some questions regarding cave formation. ahhhh... Urban studies (whee!) was pretty successful for my group. The SENSE of KOTA TINGGI! I saw this bakery... I was like "why don't we go in.. buy some stuff and interview the workers inside..." So, off we went. The young workers seemed pretty shy. They then referred us to the supervisor... who was very hospitable and warm! He invited us to his cafe on the second floor and started talking to us. He passed us a brochure about kota tinggi, then told us to look it through and called him over if we had any more questions. ((: yup. We prepared some questions and I interviewed the cafe supervisor. I am kinda inspired by him. haha. He doesn't have a superb command of English but u know, from his body language, his attempts to convey the message across to us... we can tell those are all the qualities of someone who work in the service sector should possess. We found that he used to work in the hotel line, travelled around msia.. working in different hotels... and also, the interesting things about Kota Tinggi. haha. I think our group is really lucky. ((: Plus, I am more determined about my future and what I want to do now.

Besides all the geography learning, I think our class geogers are more bonded now in a sense. We played truth or dare.. or rather interrogation for a person (=p) We talked and interacted more... interclique kinda experience? haha. I think that's healthy. I like that feeling and of cos, late night talks with some of them... about the dynamics of our class, about jc life, friendship... yeah. The beach is cool. I love the beach. and the waves too. hee(: of course, we know more geogers now in our cohort... I think grouping with other class peeps is a great experience. You learn from diffferent people. You have to know how to adapt to the different working styles of other people, isn't it? We have to get the mentality right that we are here to learn. The ironic thing is... we weren't really required to spend a lot of time as a group. yes, so I think we should cherish group time. Oh well. We had this 'idol' competition too. heehe. Ryan and deyang! pole dancers! wushu pro-christabel! Mr Chad Goh sabotaged me. darn. It was because on the batu hitam beach (the basaltic rocks!), he asked for my name and then added, "you are the singing one right?" ACTUALLY, I think he remembered me as the one who took a freaking long time to conquer her fear and did the trust fall during leadership camp. yes, anyway, during this idol thing, he was like.. ."the singing one... there is the choir one.... siying right siying right..." my classmates started shouting my name. so embarrassing. I pulled the other choir ppl along( caroline, sam and jolencia). They refused to stand up at first. hahaha. I suggested singing a song.... four of us. hahaha. Sam thought there isn't any suitable song so the three of us stood there giving our jazz babe moral support (looking stupid at the same time!) while she sang "Stormy Weather". OH YESS. As a sort of 'revenge', I sabotaged Ms Tham to sing too... hahaha. She belted out a jazz piece. wheee! she looked really cute.. got showmanship! hee. ((:

ahhhh! In the midst of the trip, I received a mesage from my laogong! hahaha. It's very sweet of her to customise a personalised blogskin as a gift for my birthday. It's very very sweet. I was like telling my friends, "My junior made me a blogskin!" hahaha. ((: I can't wait to see it! She said she will send me when i got back. heh.

I missed project superstar grand finals. hmpf. Going to catch the second telecast tmr! ((: I love those singing competitions... Ryan and I went bonkers on my way back... We kept singing and singing, breaking into mad laughter while singing... haha. Sherene and Huiqing joined us too. I think we disturbed the other people on the bus. I was really feeling extremely HIGH even though I sounded like shit because of the aching throat(from screaming the prev night!) and blocked nose. It was still exhilarating singing cheena songs, nursery rhymes, oldies, all-tme favourites.... hahaha. ((: and a very fragmented pamugun for the ears of Ryan who was very amused at the ding gan and the ning nong. heehe.
